Today I am bringing you my December Wrap Up & January TBR! In terms of the Wrap Up, I am pretty impressed wth my reading this month, and it definitely helped that I joined Aentee’s #ReadersCrossing ReadAThon! I ended up reading all the books I put on my TBR for December and on my #ReadersCrossing Sign Up & TBR. Overall, I read 6 books, 2 graphic novels, and listening to 1 audiobook. Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet, Vol.2 by Ta-Nehisi Coates – 3/5 stars! Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet, Vol.2 has Fantastic Art, but weaved with a complex storyline. Giving up on this one, it’s not for me. Full Spoiler Free Review Here!
I Hate Fairyland, Vol. 1: Madly Ever After by Skottie Young – 4.5/5 stars! I Hate Fairyland, Vol. 1: Madly Ever After was colourful, bright, funny and bloody! really enjoyable graphic novel! Full Spoiler Free Review Here!
Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer – 3.25/5 stars! Annihilation was creepy, atmospheric and an interesting read!. Full Spoiler Free Review Here!

Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castell – DNF @ 13% – No Rating! Unfortunately, I didn’t care enough to continue this one, will try pick it up again soon! No Review Currently.
Because You Love to Hate Me edited by Ameriie – 3/5 stars! Because You Love to Hate Me was interesting and beautifully written. However I didn’t connect to any of the anthologies! No Review Currently.
A Destiny of Dragons by TJ Klune – 5/5 stars! A Destiny of Dragons was hilarious, with inappropriate humour (which is my kinda thing), sexual jokes & the best cast of characters! No Review Currently.

JANUARY TBR
All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater: I am already 38% of the way through All The Crooked Saints and I am excited to get back into Maggie’s writing style and see where Maggie takes this story.
The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton: This is The Quarterly Club’s winter book and this one is definitely going to be an interesting read! I hadn’t heard of The Miniaturist prior to it coming our book pick, but I am excited to read this one as it is a bit out of my comfort zone.
Darker by E. L. James: I am 80% of the way through Darker already, and it’s a guilty pleasure read for me, I regret nothing!
Those are all the books on my set TBR, I haven’t picked any other books currently, so I will leave it like that and pick up others depending on my mood.

This sounds like a very good reading month…maybe that’d just my biased opinion at seeing Morning Star cause I LOVE that trilogy to pieces & am anxiously awaiting the release of Iron Gold later later this month 😂😂😂 I also read Cruel Prince in December & DEVOURED IT! so good! I Hate Fairyland is on my tbr & just as soon as I can justify buying it, it’s a done deal haha! Just subbed to your Youtube channel & will be binge watching later tonight 💜

Thank you so much!!! Morning Star brought me so much joy, and also destroyed my soul. I NEED Iron Gold AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I really enjoyed The Cruel Prince too, it was so much different than I thought it would be… AND THAT ENDING YAAASSSSSS. I Hate Fairyland is probably one of my favourite Graphic Novels, it’s so funny and colourful, I just loved it! Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel, I appreciate it!!!!

Yassss!!! Morning Star felt like such a roller coaster ride of emotions I couldn’t get off 😂😂😂 thinking of making Martin Luther King weekend a 4 day just so that I can read this book with no chill 😉 the ending to Cruel Prince was so bad a**!!! Didn’t see it coming & have to give so much props to Holly Black for writing this first installment so well! Cannot wait for the follow up 😃 & yea I think the colors I see in the cover alone of I Hate Fairyland have me sold that it’s something I need 😂 & you’re very welcome, look forward to talking all things Books 💜
