Goodreads Monday: Nevernight

Hey Book Lovers!

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Lauren @ Lauren’s Page Turners and I cannot wait to bring you another book that is sitting on my TBR!

What is Goodreads Monday you ask? Goodreads Monday is picking a book that is on our TBR and showing it off, and I just love showing off books, so today I am showing off Nevernight by Jay Kristoff.

Published:

July 25th 2016 by Harper Voyager

Synopsis:

Destined to destroy empires Mia Covere is only ten years old when she is given her first lesson in death.

Six years later, the child raised in the shadows takes her first steps towards keeping the promise she made on the day that she lost everything.

But the chance to strike against such powerful enemies will be fleeting, so if she is to have her revenge, Mia must become a weapon without equal. She must prove herself against the deadliest of friends and enemies, and survive the tutelage of murderers, liars and demons at the heart of a murder cult.

The Red Church is no Hogwarts, but Mia is no ordinary student. The shadows loves her. And they drink her fear.

My Comments:

This book! It has been on my shelf for so long, and I wish I had time to read it because I even got a signed copy because I was so excited about it! The first line had me hooked, but as usual University is destroying my reading life and I haven’t been able to pick Nevernight up properly and give it the time it deserves!

Everything Jay writes is absolute gold to me, so I cannot wait to pick this one up!

So that is it for me today, and if you have read Nevernight definitely let me know I would love to hear your thoughts on the book!

Thanks again to  Lauren’s Page Turners for creating this weekly meme, I love joining in!

Happy Reading Book Lovers!

  1. I’ve only heard great things about Jay Kristoff but still haven’t read any of his books. Nevernight looks amazing (and that naked cover! ❤️️) though I’m a bit afraid of the pacing…
I hope you can get to read it soon and love it! You certainly like his other books, so I imagine you will like this one too 🙂
